    It is important to realize that a man who has had a vasectomy can find himself in changed circumstances. I can perform a vasectomy reversal in such situations to restore his fertility.

    Male hypogonadism, or low testosterone, affects approximately 40% of men who are more than 45 years of age and 14 million American men overall.

    Diagnosing hypogonadism involves a blood test that checks for low testosterone levels plus a screening questionnaire, and can be treated effectively by replacing or adding testosterone through creams, injections, or implantable pellets.

Dr. Avila is a fellowship-trained urologist specializing in male fertility, vasectomy reversal, and men's health. He has been practicing medicine for over a decade. When not helping men and their partners to improve their sexual health and achieve a pregnancy, he spends his time with his wife Cristina and their two children, Camila and Julian.
